Adjusting the Fire Safety Attitude

The single greatest obstacle when it comes to public education, is the general public’s attitude about fire safety. This is demonstrated by those that remove batteries from smoke alarms, refusal to install CO alarms, dismissing the importance of home escape planning, or just ignoring our fire & life safety message all together.

Sometimes, residents in your community need to be reminded or inspired to adjust their attitude toward fire safety.  We’ve designed some resources about who is responsible for fire safety in the home, the consequences of not taking fire safety seriously, or that offer a touching reminder about what – or who – fire safety is meant to protect.
